When Dr. E isn’t revolutionizing healthcare, she’s with her incredible wife, Gina LaMandre. A PA and professor, Gina is the “G” in EG Healthcare and EG PREP. Her story is the inspiration for The Knew Method, and Hawk Scribes is named after her favorite bird.
But their adventures don’t stop there. Together, they rescue animals and have a fluctuating number of cats—currently six—in their home(don’t judge). Their household is lively, filled with love and a dash of chaos. They are also proud moms to three amazing humans. Balancing family, furry friends, and groundbreaking work, Dr. E and Gina make a dynamic duo, proving that passion and partnership can change the world.
PHILANTHROPY
Driven by a fierce commitment to uplift others, Dr. E leverages her platforms to make a difference. She’s not content with just providing top-notch care to her own patients. As the chair of the Northwell SIUH Hospital’s foundation board, she shapes healthcare initiatives and supports vital programs that improve access to care for all. Through her practice, she runs food and toy drives, donates to community causes, and champions second-chance employment, microloans for employees, and unique working environments for working moms. Dr. E is always looking for innovative ways to create positive change.
VISION
I started off with a conventional medical practice, EG Healthcare and I am proud to care for so many. But everything changed when my wife became ill. I soon realized we needed more.
Her illness led me on an intense journey to find deeper answers. I explored integrative and functional medicine, bringing these insights back to my patients and sharing them through my social media, podcasts, and speaking engagements. I became a fierce advocate for my patients and clients.
This journey has also put me at the forefront of NP advocacy. I have become a trailblazer for Nurse Practitioners, leading the charge at the forefront of healthcare. My journey has been one of transformation, pushing boundaries, and redefining what’s possible in medicine.
